Finally, a much-needed oasis in the area! Now locals don't have to travel into SF or San Jose to have a nice shopping center to hang out and shop at.
Diana at the concierge is amazing and gave me a lot of great recommendations for lunch and happy hours. I like grabbing some cold brew at Philz and enjoying the sunshine with my new Cartier sunglasses I got from Azil at Optical Illusions. Michael over at Bamboo Sushi is a really genuine guy and helped me pick out some good sushi choices. There's so many events happening here every month, I'm excited for what else they have in store.
Only bad thing is the parking, it fills up quickly, especially with the farmers market on Saturday mornings. I wish they did a better job regulating the EV parking area. I would say only about half the cars parked there are actually EV.
It’s a mall designed by Renzo Piano - the same architect that designed The Shard in London and The Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. Not to mention portions of the Chicago Art Institute, which i used to frequent when I lived nearby. So - in my book worth checking out for that reason alone.
As an added bonus, there are some cool places to eat - such as Curry Up Now - and some decent places to shop.
Nice little mall type area. I wish we had something like this where I lived. It had ice skating, lots of cool shops, boba, and a beautiful center. Everything was pretty pricey but it was a nice place to window shop and have a drink.
Great new city center. Every weekend this month they are having holiday celebrations with Santa and a beautiful Christmas tree. Because of the way they are opening, some stores aren't ready yet but every month new stores will open up.
Here from out of town and staying in the nearby San Ramon Marriott for the week. This place was my go-to destination for coffee, lunch, or dinner - it has it all. Great seating areas and atmosphere. I had a rental car but didn't hardly need to venture further than City Center, which is a lovely walk from the hotel. The shops are women's boutiques, home furnishings, and kids stores. Nothing too exciting, but the dining options kept me coming back.
Parking sucks and people are way too aggressive in the parking structure, but once you get in, its a great place to hang out. I grabbed some iced coffee at Philz, bought a pair of designer sunglasses from Optical Illusions, new makeup at Sephora, just people watched for a couple of hours. This shopping center is on my weekly rotation.
Parking is absolutely atrocious. We waisted an hour looking for parking and eventually gave up because we missed our reservation. What is the point of a multi story parking structure if they close it and say lot full, when the parking space …
This center is a bit weirdly laid out, but I think still worth visiting. There is a cute and fun park-like setting in the center of the buildings, which is nice, but almost seems like it doesn’t belong there. Still, helpful if you have a …
Best mall in NorCal hands down. Really great experiential retail with a really solid tenant roster. Worth coming out here from the City even.
Hard to rate because only a quarter of the stores are open. Currently the only food options are Starbucks, Boba Guys and Fieldworks. Slanted For is supposed to open by the end of the year. There are 3 stores open on the second level and …
